RRA STUDENT TRAVEL GRANT
The Religious Research Association has allocated funds to encourage students to participate in the SSSR/RRA annual meeting. Financial assistance of $500 is available for RRA student members presenting papers in designated RRA sessions. The Association will provide up to 20 grants in 2016.
To be considered for an RRA Student Travel Grant, applicants must:
- Be a student member of the Religious Research Association.
- Submit a paper proposal designated for RRA by March 31.
- Email a completed application form to the RRA Awards Committee Chair by March 31.
- Not apply for the SSSR Student Travel Award for the same year.
The application form requests contact information, name of an academic advisor, academic program, expected year of completion, presentation plans, any additional sources of travel funding, and details about the paper proposal. A link to the application form is provided below.
Applicants should download the form, enter all requested information, and submit the completed form electronically by March 31. A paper proposal also must be submitted using the on-line submission system by March 31.

Applications received after the deadline will not necessarily receive consideration. Grantees will be notified by email by April 30. Grant checks will be distributed in person at the SSSR/RRA meeting.
